National Party

The day was filled with lectures till 18:30, after which it was just
dinner and preparing for the national Party at 21:00.
The first stage in the preparations was organizing the national stage act. Here the UK participants have gathered in one of the dormitary corridoors, being rehearsed by Adrian for a song that he had prepared. |
| Next it was time to prepare the food - for which it had been organized for us to have access to the industrial kitchen facilities in the canteen, with some British contributions being prepared in the forground here. |

| The first part of the National Party consists of each national group providing examples of their local cuisine for everyone else to sample. This was the UK table - from which we provided tea, various alcholic beverages, and from the big pot on the left, our traditional English curry... |

| The second part of the National Party requires each national group to put on some form of stage act. At 00:45, a little earlier than expected, it was the UKs turn, and one of the braver acts (which I hasten to add did not include me) was a group that decided to reenact a scene from The Full Monty. This shot had to be carefully framed to spare their blushes.. |
