23th August - Monte Conero/Massignano day 1

For the next two days, the drill team accompany Sandro to Monte Conero for the replacement of period markers in the rock face. The stratigraphy team work in adjacent Massignano.

We start the day with a group photograph before heading into the field.
The drill and stratigraphy team meet up for lunch at a local venue. Here Jaime reveals her predilection for olives.
