Saturday/Sunday - Arrival and Registration

I arrive at Pescara airport at 22:00 on Saturday night, and am met by Gian Ori who takes me to the Hotel Alba.

On Sunday afternoon, while searching for a suitable place to have breakfast, I run into Antonio Baliva from the last course, and his friend Valerio Ruscito who will be attending this year.

	Valerio and David Rajmon (also a short course veteran) are staying with Antonio for the week. We call at Antonio's to collect David, and then the four of us head out to find some lunch. We decide upon the beach side pizzeria which sells little pizza's, which was popular during last years course.

Course Registration

	Claudia Mosangini deals with Valerio's registration, while Lucia Marinangeli looks on.

Lyuba Moroz finds a place to sit, with David inspects the contents of his registration show bag in the forground.

	Friedrich Begemann, one of the course presenters, checks in at the regisration desk. Jens Ormo stands in the forground.

Heinrich Wänke, another of the presenters, arrives at the registration desk, while Gregory Michael, an Englishman studying at Moscow State University, settles in at a table after registering.

How to get free cream in Pescara..

After the registration, Jens, Gregory and I wind up at a caffe. Jens orders a gelato, which results in considerable consternation as a result of the language barrier. The waiter finally manages to make it clear what he was asking by squirting some cream onto a wafer and giving it to me..
