Wednesday and the poster session

The University was within quite easy walking distance, but somehow we always seemed to be too short of time. Here Giovanna, Stefan and Carlos make their way in on the bus.

And in the evening, most of us meet for lunch at the Birreria Pizzeria "Del Corso" which apparently gets its name from the beer glasses which explode over peoples heads.

	The ones that are missing turned out to have been feasting on the leftovers from the poster session lunch.

After dinner, Antonio led the diehards to a well concealed establishment at the end of an alley. It had a stout door with one of those little windows associated with illegal gambling dens and other dodgey enterprises. In this case, some skillful negotiating by Antonio gained us entrance, revealing a deceptively sedate arrangement of bar, tables and stage. By the end of the evening, the numbers had swelled to the extent that is was almost impossible to move without climbing over the thronging mass.
