Sternberg and Halloween

Thursday November 30th - The Sternberg Institute

	On Thurday morning I accompanied Augustine to the venerable halls of the Sternberg Institute, where he Greg and Greg were going to attend a meeting to discuss Beagle II landing site mapping requirements.

Greg and Augustine met later that evening for dinner at an extravagent resturant called The Corner. Lena and I had a far more economical meal at her favourite cafe. However I didn't get any pictures of either event. But here is a card from the cafe..

Friday November 31st - Sunday November 2nd

Halloween and Concerts.

	Lena in her kitchen at 16:14, preparing some chicken and kasha for dinner before her evening lessons.

Later that evening, after Lena's lessons, I would join Lena, Masha and two of their friends for the trip to Masha's datcha where we would spend halloween.

	Masha on the train on the way to her Datcha at 23:05 on Friday night.

Masha starts work on our pumpkin at 01:23am on Saturday morning.

	Lena comes to lend a hand.

Lena and Masha putting the finishing touches on the 'Jack'. Technically our late arrival and failure to finish before midnight meant that we were at the mercy of whatever supernatural forces were on the loose that halloween.

	At 11:57 on Saturday morning, my first view of Masha's datcha in daylight. Happily we had been treated to a dusting of snow overnight.
