Science Ministry, Russian regae and film night
Wednesday November 5th - Science Ministry
| On Wednesday I had to spend some time at the hotel trying to organize a change to a room with a TV in it so that I could use my DVD player. While waiting at the hotel, I used the time to do some preliminary sorting of my pictures on my notebook. |
That evening I met with Greg and Olya at our familiar Leninski Prospect metro station (the one nearest to the hotel used for the microsymposium) with the intention of having dinner at the resturant/bar atop the Science Ministry building.
| On arrival we found that the resturant was closed for a private function, but were advised that there was a pool room with dining facilities that we could use - so we did. |

On our way back to the metro station, Greg decided to make use
of his photographic equipment (which he had hoped to use from the
vantage point of the Science Ministry resturant).

Thursday November 6th - Russian regae
| On Thursday Lena came to my hotel after she finished work, with an invitation to join her and her boyfriend at a free gig featuring a Russian regae band with a name that translates into English as 'Friday'. |

| I had gotten my TV equipped room by this stage, and had hooked up my DVD player, so we amused ourselves with some CDs and DVDs till it was time to leave. |

Friday November 7th - Film night at Masha's
Breakfast at the Hostel
| At breakfast at 11:48, I am joined by Fernanda, a Brazilian girl currently resident in Britain. I had run into her at breakfest several times already, and she had told me of her adventures trying to survive for a week in Russia without any money, and how she wants to be a missionary in Russia. |

An evening at Masha's
| Later that afternoon, at 15:10, with Lena and Masha at Masha's house as they work in the kitchen preparing the cuisine for the evening of films that we have planned. |
