Thursday 7th October

On Thurday I joined Peter and Heinz from Germany on another exploration of Moscow. This time we had Anton as our guide.

First stop was the metro station, where Heinz and Peter are instructed on buying metro tickets.

Then onto the the streets of Moscow - although I don't recall which street this was.

Anton must have taken a turn with the camera for this one.

Crossing the bridge over the Moscow River on the way to the Kremlin.

On Red Square, most of which was fenced off during the opening of Lenin's tomb.

On the other side of Red Square, with St Basils in the background.

Our lunch/Coffee stop on the Arbat.

After which Anton had to leave us, and of course we immediately got lost...

We found our way back in time to meet with the American contingent, and Sasha Basilevsky who led us all back to his appartment

for a welcome banquet.
