Friday - Vernadsky Institute and the Kremlin

On friday four of us headed over to the Vernadsky Institute
to talk with some of the scientists.
|

There we were given a guided tour of their extensive
meteorite collection.
|
|
|
On our way from the Vernadsky Institute to the
Kremlin, we met Lyuba and Thomas.
|
|
who walked with us for part of the way.
|
|
|
In the Kremlin grounds, beside the Tzar's Cannon.
|
|
Inside the Kremlin walls were numerous churches and
museums, each with separate entrance fees for Russians
and foreigners.
|
|
|

Emerging from the front gate of the Kremlin,

|
From where we headed off in search of a cafe to get a bite to
eat before setting off to meet the rest of the group for the
evening at the Moscow Circus (sorry - no pictures of that).
